In 1954, customers didn’t need Shakey’s Pizza Happy Hour specials as an excuse to hang out in the fun-loving pizza joint. The original Shakey’s in Sacramento featured Dixieland Jazz and Ragtime performers. It was the place to go to have a few beers, listen to some music, and well . . . eat pizza.
Now there are Shakey’s in three other states and Mexico, and customers are coming in droves for Shakey’s happy hour menu. The beer and appetizers may bring them into the restaurant, but its Shakey’s fun atmosphere that keeps customers returning.
