Subway’s gluten free menu has offerings for those that have non-celiac gluten sensitivity as well as for those that have Celiac Disease and other wheat intolerances.
This is a shout out to you Grandma and others that have Celiac Disease. You now have ordering choices.
Just be sure to warn Subway, as well as all other restaurants, about cross-contamination, since most Subway orderers are ordering sandwiches that are being cut on those same serving boards, leaving behind bread crumbs.
Don’t hesitate to educate them about the seriousness of cross-contamination and what this means for you.
Some of the favorite gluten free menu items are salads and a la carte orders, for that meat eater out there.
I’m not going to say that Subway has a HUGE menu offering for those with gluten sensitivity or allergies, BUT it’s a step in the right direction.

Popular Gluten Free Items at Subway
Truly, there’s one gluten free order for lunch and dinner, and that’s everything that goes on a sandwich put into a bowl, which they call a salad. Hey, it’s better than nothing.
I’ve seen them made, and I have to say, they look pretty tasty.
Tuna Salad
I would definitely try the Tuna Salad with Pepper Jack cheese and all the veggies, sub spinach with lettuce. This is legit y’all.
Egg Omelet
Or if you’re in for breakfast, try a tasty egg omelet with your choice of meat, cheese, and veggies. Yes, Subway offers breakfast, those of you living under a rock.
A la carte
Also get creative. You can order plain chicken with melted cheese topped with black olives and jalapenos. That sounds delicious to me.
No, it may not be that sandwich you’re missing, but the bright side is, you’re eating healthier than the majority of us.
Maybe we should take a page out of your book every now and again.
Condiments
And don’t forget about the abundance of condiments Subway offers. If you can’t find a dressing or topping her that you don’t like, you’re simply not trying enough options.
Enjoy Subway’s Gluten Free Offerings
Subway may not be your first thought when it comes to eating gluten free, but it should be up there. Not only do they wear a fresh pair of gloves when making your sandwich, to protect those from cross-contamination, but they make a mean salad.
They’ve even branched out into breakfast, with offerings for both the vegetarian and the gluten intolerant. Kuddos to the sandwich artists for keeping up with the times.
