McDonald’s is a constantly evolving chain. When I was little, it was all about the playgrounds and that creepy clown, with his sidekick, the Hamburgler.
The height of sophistication was having a McDonald’s birthday party. If you were born in the 80s and missed out on attending one of these events, you were very deprived my friend.
There was something very special about ordering your chicken nugget or hamburger Happy Meal, and being handed your food neatly wrapped in its own cute little box with an M shaped handle. Kids have no idea what they’re missing today.
Now, Mickey D’s is more menu-focused, and has continued to market its food efficiency, hence fast food. If consistency is your friend, then look no further than McDonald’s “or MacDonalds” as we call it in the South.
