Furr’s menu prices are proof that sometimes a concept comes up that is so simple, so straightforward, and so innovative that it becomes a rocketing success and changes how food is served. For Furr’s this concept was the integration of cafeteria style eating into a family restaurant with all-you-can-eat buffet options. Every stop by Furr’s ensures that you’re going to leave satisfied, without the concern that what you ordered isn’t going to be enough. You can select from their basic plates, hearty portions that will have you taking home leftovers, or their all-you-can-eat option that will leave you as pleasantly stuffed as you care to get.

Popular Menu Items
The thing about stopping by a Furr’s is that their menu is slightly different at every location, tailored to the tastes of the community and the availability of fresh delicious ingredients. At most locations you’ll find standard offerings like golden butterfly shrimp, baked Alaskan White Fish, and Carved Smoked Pit Ham alongside local classics. Spaghetti and meatballs and taco bars make an appearance at many locations, and a robust salad bar can be found at all of them, ready to fill you up with tasty greens and delicious dressings. One thing is for certain though, you’ll never leave hungry unless you’re taking take-out instead of eat-in, but that’ll only last till you get it home.

Furrs To Go
The price for this varies based on where you are, but you can always call ahead and order up a big plate of Furr’s menu items to take out. Sometimes you don’t have time to sit down and enjoy your favorite restaurant, but Furr’s doesn’t let that be a reason you can’t have your most desired meals.
Priced by location
Rotisserie-Style Chicken
There’s something about slow-roasting the chicken on a turning spit that makes it fantastically delicious. The constant rotation ensures that the chicken remains basted in its juices, preventing it from becoming dried out and tough. Combining this process with Furr’s seasonings creates their signature chicken.
Comes with the buffet meal
Cornbread Muffins
This is one of our biggest draws to Furr’s, an endless buffet of cornbread muffins that come with as much honey-butter as you want to put on them. We can sit all day snacking on this delicious bread without ever growing tired of its classic flavor.
Get all you want with their standard buffet meal
Banana Pudding
We aren’t sure what it is about banana pudding that makes it a staple on every buffet table ever, but we do know that we’re extremely happy its there. Of course, Furr’s kicks it up to another level by adding sliced bananas and vanilla wafer cookies with whipped cream on top.
Eat your fill as part of their buffet offering.
Furrs’ History
Hobbs New Mexico saw the creation of the first Furr’s restaurant in 1946, spearheaded by Key and Roy Furr, two brothers with a dream of creating a wonderful restaurant experience for the community. So successful was their initial offering that the second location opened in Odessa, Texas just a year later. It was their innovation of cafeteria dining that led them to rapidly grow in popularity, with multiple new locations opening in the years to follow. Today there are 25 Furr’s restaurants open throughout New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado serving home-style meals and comfort food desserts to customers at all their locations. While the only location that serves their food cafeteria style is in Farmington, NM, you can still dive into their all-you-can-eat menu and eat your fill.
