Popular Menu Items

One of the reasons that you can count on Boston Market to deliver excellent rotisserie chicken is that they use only fresh, never frozen, all natural chicken. The Ribs are slow roasted and cut from the bottom of the ribs ensuring plenty of fall-off-the-bone meat smothered in their own signature BBQ sauce.

With plenty of homestyle side dishes, and lighter fare like salads, bowls and sandwiches, there is something for everyone at Boston Market. Great meal deals make it easy to buy for a crowd, and catering options make party planning a snap.

Below you will find some of the most popular customer favorites.

Half Chicken

Boston Market started their legacy with rotisserie chicken so you know you can always count on tender and juicy chicken. This meal deal includes two side dishes and cornbread. You can ask for a side of Zesty BBQ, Sweet Thai Chili Garlic sauce or Honey Habanero if you are looking for that extra kick. $8.79.

½ Rack of Ribs and ½ Signature Rotisserie Chicken

If you are looking for a great deal and can’t decide between the tasty chicken or scrumptious ribs, consider splitting this huge meal with a friend. It comes with two side dishes and cornbread for just $12.99.

Meatloaf Meal for 4

Boston Market has some fantastic family deals and this is one of our favorites. There are plenty of sides to choose from including mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed spinach and steamed vegetables among other classics. The Garlic Dill New Potatoes are definitely worth a try. Feed the whole family for $30.36.

Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich

If you are looking for lighter fare on the go, consider this tasty sandwich that features feta cheese, cucumber slices, tomato, lettuce and thinly sliced red onion. Of course the star of this sandwich is the hand carved rotisserie chicken breast. You have your choice of a white bun or multigrain roll. Made when you order for $6.99.

Boston Market’s History

The first Boston Market restaurant was opened in Newton, Massachusetts by Arthur Cores and Steve Kolow in 1985. The restaurant chain was originally known as Boston Chicken due to the focus on fire roasted rotisserie chicken as the main menu item.

In 1995 the name changed to the now famous Boston Market and the menu was supplemented with homestyle dishes such as meatloaf, roasted turkey, ham and a variety of sandwiches. Popular dinner entrees were also expanded into a grocery store line of foods starting in 1999. By this time the chain operated over 1,100 restaurants and was grossing over $1 billion dollars annually.

Efforts to extend to international markets troubled the chain which declared bankruptcy in 1998, later to be bought out by McDonalds in 2000. It was sold to Sun Capital Partners in 2007 and now operates in over 450 locations.
