Cooper’s Hawk Winery’s History
2005 was the day that Dana and Tim McEnery chose to open the first Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Illinois. Before this Tim had been inspired by the fact that it was exceedingly uncommon for wineries to have a restaurant located on the premises and decided it was time to open the first combined location Illinois had ever seen. So successful was this venture that it saw the opening of 24 other locations throughout the United States, providing incredible food and wine that was produced right there on site. All of the wines you’ll have when you visit a Cooper’s Hawk Winery are stored and aged right there on site, ensuring that you can experience the wine at its most pure.
