Dickey’s has been doing barbeque with the same family recipes since 1941. Of course you will go for the smoked meat, the question is, which one? You can select from pulled pork, beef brisket, turkey or chicken breast, Barbecue Honey Ham, Spicy Cheddar Sausage or Polish sausage.
After you decide on the meat you will be ordering, you can choose to have it on a plate, a sandwich or a salad. The side dish selections are all fantastic, but make sure you try the baked potato casserole, the creamy mac & cheese or the green beans with bacon. The hot and crisp Fried Onion Tanglers are also not to be missed.

Lil’ Hoagie
This tasty little sandwich is great if you are on the go. Have any one of Dickey’s delicious smoked meats on a small hoagie bun with onions, pickles and BBQ sauce for just $4.50. If you add any two sides, you can make it a plate for a more filling meal for just $8.00.
Beef & Cheese Baker
Start with a hot and perfectly baked russet potato then top with chopped beef brisket, cheese and fried onions. It is a meal in itself covering all the bases: meat, potato and cheese! $7.95.
Smokehouse Salad
If you are looking for lighter fare on the menu, try this hearty salad. The fresh bed of crisp lettuce is topped with cheddar cheese, crispy fried onions, and the smoked meat of your choice. We recommend the smoked honey ham. $8.50.

Dickey’s History:
The first Dickey’s Barbeque Pit was opened by Travis Dickey in Dallas, Texas in 1941. In 1967, the restaurant was taken over by Travis’ sons Roland and T.D. Jr. and the chain expanded throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth region over the next few decades.
Using the franchise model, the chain began a rapid national expansion starting in 1994, although it remains a family owned business. Rowland Dickey Jr. took over as CEO in 2006. The family has ensured that the same recipes and techniques originally used to make a name for Dickey’s first restaurant are still in use today at every franchise location.
In 2015 there were over 520 Dickey’s locations across the United States. It is the largest BBQ chain in the country.
