Wild Boar Burger

Fuddruckers History
The first location of Fuddruckers was actually named Freddie Fuddruckers and opened in 1979 in San Antonio, Texas by Philip J. Romano. Fun Fact: The originally location was previously a bank. The meat for the burgers was ground on site, never frozen with buns that were baked on location.
There were 150 locations in the chain by 1988 when Romano left to go on to found Romano’s Macaroni Grill. The chain was purchased by Magic Brands Inc. that same year. It was later sold to Luby’s in 2010 after being hit hard by the financial crisis of 2008.
As of 2016 there are about 190 Fuddruckers locations in both the U.S. and several foreign nations including Canada, Chile, Panama, Mexico, Italy, Poland and others.
