Jack’s History
Jack’s originated in Homewood, Alabama in 1960 by founder Jack Caddell. The fast food chain is also known as Jack’s Family Restaurants and was originally named Jack’s Hamburgers.
The restaurant had humble beginnings and got its start by selling 15 cent hamburgers & fries and 20 cent shakes. Since then, it has grown its menu to include many more popular items such as fried chicken, salads, a variety of different hamburger options, and more.
Today, the Jack’s Family Restaurants resemble a typical fast food establishment, and customers are able to dine-in or go through the drive through. They even recently added online ordering to their website, as a convenience.
