Grilled ‘Thick Cut’ Bacon

It isn’t often that something as simple as ‘Bacon’ makes it onto our list of favorite menu items, (though Bacon anything gets extra points). In this case, we made an exception simply because it’s also rare that we find a restaurant that serves bacon as an appetizer all on its ow, cured in-house with Sriracha molasses and served up in hearty, thick cuts.

Escargot isn’t often seen on menus state-side, but Kevin Rathbun steak has included it as part of their goal to provide an incredible new dining experience in a steakhouse atmosphere. The escargot is baked in a parsley garlic butter sauce along with a side of crispy shallots.

Kevin Rathbun Steak’s History

Sometimes a tiny thing can become the beginning of an important era in an industries history. For the restaurant industry that small thing was a secluded restaurant space in an area that was on the verge of a culinary boom, and it was here that Kevin Rathbun got his start, establishing the first of the Rathbun restaurants known simply as… Rathbun. From there he would continue to expand in a way somewhat unusual in the culinary industry, not by opening new Rathbun locations, but instead by creating different types of restaurants under the Rathbun name. It was through this process that the Kevin Rathbun Steak steakhouse came into existence in 2007. His goal to create a new modern steakhouse with more innovation and menu offerings that nonetheless remained true to the steakhouse concept was wildly successful. It belongs on your “must try” restaurant stops.
