The menu at Mimi’s Café is slightly different for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some breakfast items such as the many pastries and muffins to choose from as well as select favorites like Steak and Eggs are available all day long.
The lunch menu features soups and salads inspired by the great breads and flavors of France. A limited selection of entrees from the dinner menu are also available for lunch if you are looking for a heartier afternoon meal.
The dinner menu features many classic French dishes prepared with authenticity of flavors in mind. You will be impressed with such classics as Roasted Chicken Crêpes and Quiche Florentine. If you find you can’t save room for dessert, just pick something up at the pastry counter on your way home!

Baked Brie to Share
This warm and melty cheese dish is served with toasted slices of baguette and topped with fresh tart apple slices and an apricot chutney. $6.99.
Quiche Lorraine
A french classic, this quiche is made with bacon, Gruyere and fluffy eggs baked in a flaky crust. It would be great for breakfast, lunch or dinner since it is served all day long. $9.99.
French Dip
Tender roast beef on a chewy French baguette with a touch of horseradish cream dressing. What makes this sandwich special is that it comes with a cup of au jus, which is French for rich beef broth, which you dip the sandwich in to soften the bread and make each bite a juicy sensation. You can optionally add sautéed mushrooms, peppers, onions and cheese for just $1.59 more. $9.99.
French Pot Roast
This rich and hearty stew is available in two regional variations. Beef Bourguignon is in a rich red wine sauce with mushrooms and the Braised Beef which features a beef gravy accompanied by carrots and onions. Either version is deeply satisfying comfort food inspired by the French countryside. $13.99.
Triple Croissant Bread Pudding
It would be a shame to leave a French café without having a rich dessert. If you manage to save enough room, we recommend this deliciously sweet twist on bread pudding. You won’t regret it. $5.99.
Mimi’s Café History
The first Mimi’s Café was opened in Anaheim, California in 1978. Founder Arthur J. Simms had been stationed in France during WWII and was inspired by French cuisine. He partnered with his son Thomas Simms and partners Brian Taylor and Paul Kurz to open the restaurant.
The chain grew and was sold to Bob Evans Farms, Inc. in 2004, and then to Groupe Le Duff in 2013. As of 2016 there are 145 locations in 24 states. In 2013 the chain had a significant image overhaul with many of the locations being converted to include a pastry counter with sales of baked goods and roasted coffee beans as well as an updated French bistro décor.
