Chang’s Spicy Chicken
This signature dish is both sweet and spicy with handmade chili sauce on tender chicken with scallions and garlic. You can have it fried in the wok or steamed. It comes with your choice of steamed white or brown rice or a pile of quinoa. This dish is one of several gluten free options on the menu. $15.50.
Coconut Curry Vegetables
This is a great choice for vegetarians. Packed full of flavor with a smooth coconut curry sauce. Tofu, bok choy, broccoli, mushrooms, snap peas and peanuts are wok fried and served over rice. You certainly won’t feel like you are missing out with this meal. $11.50.
Banana Spring Rolls
A fresh banana rolled in wonton wrappers is fried to a crisp and served with a coconut-pineapple ice cream then finished with a caramel and vanilla sauce. You will want to save room for this delightful dessert. $7.50.
P. F. Chang’s History
Paul Fleming (P.F) and Philip Chiang (Chang’s) opened the first P.F. Chang’s restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1993. Many of the original menu items were adapted from Chiang’s mother’s recipes, who had been a successful restaurateur since the early 1960’s.
The chain was incorporated into Chang’s China Bistro, Inc. the same year with four locations. In 2012 the chain was sold to Centerbridge Partners, a private investment firm. Core concepts such as the from-scratch style of cooking, quality ingredients, and kitchens run by chefs, remain intact.
P.F. Chang’s has 260 locations internationally in 14 nations.
