Popular Menu Items
The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is a place where people gather to hang out, have a few drinks, and eat great food. They have an extensive drink menu and a wide variety of food options.
One of the coolest features at “The Bucket” is that they have a daily Blue Plate Special every day of the week that features classic meals like spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp scampi, and a turkey dinner, available all day at great prices.
Start your meal with a few of the Rusty Bucket’s appetizers, from hummus to hot spinach dip to deep fried pickles (a bar favorite!). After that, you can try out eight different sandwiches, seven varieties of burger, or one of their many “Main Plates” like meatloaf or BBQ ribs. And don’t forget dessert!
Here are some of The Bucket’s most popular items to try:
The Big Sicilian
If you’re in the mood for pizza, then this pie should be calling your name. All of the Rusty Bucket’s pizzas are made on 12”, artisan hand-tossed crust. The Big Sicilian adds red sauce with mozzarella and provolone cheese and then tops it with pepperoni, Italian sausage, capicola, and red onions. This is a perfect pie to share or take whatever you can’t eat by yourself home.
Baja Fish Tacos
Fish tacos have become very popular over the last decade and the Rusty Bucket knows how to do them right. They take blackened fish and top it with fresh citrus cabbage cole slaw, sour cream, and fresh cilantro.
Double Stacked Quesadilla
This quesadilla may be considered an appetizer, but it also eats like a meal. You get blackened chicken, cheddar and pepperjack cheeses, black bean and corn salsa. It comes served with sides of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad
This Bucket favorite features pulled, oven-roasted chicken served over mixed greens. It comes with tortilla strips, black beans, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese on top and it’s all tossed in a ranch dressing and drizzled with BBQ sauce.
The Rusty Bucket’s History
Gary Callicoat founded Rusty Bucket in 2002. He had a vision to create a restaurant that had friendly service in a relaxed setting. His career started in the industry when he was just 15 years old as a dishwasher. He eventually moved into operation roles within Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.
Under Mitchell’s guidance, Gary opened the first Rusty Bucket in Dublin, Ohio. Since then restaurant has grown to over 20 locations. Aside from serving great food and drinks, The Bucket is committed to supporting the communities it does business in.
