Sparks Steakhouse’s History
Sparks Steakhouse is a classic location within New York City that had stood there since 1966 when it was established by Mike and Pasquale Cetta. While it no longer remains at its original location at 123 East 18th Street, it’s new location where it has stood since 1977 has served it well as part of the Steakhouse culture in inner Manhattan. Throughout the years it has won multiple awards and been the recipient of much acclaim, both for the quality of its food as well as for the historical events that took place there. Such events include the gunning down of two important crime bosses in the Gambino Crime Family in 1985.
