Wetzel’s innovated the pretzel industry by wrapping their pretzel around an all-beef hot dog. Top it off with a yummy layer of cheese, and you have the Wetzel Cheese Dog! Order the Cheese Dog for $5.29.
Enjoy Wetzel’s in bite-sized varieties called Bitz. Pizza Bitz, topped with pepperoni, are perfect when paired with the Pizza Dipping Sauce.
Wetzel Bitz also come in other flavors, such as the Almond Crunch Bitz, Sour Cream and Onion Bitz, as well as the traditional. The Gourmet Bitz are $4.19 and the sauces can be purchased for 99 cents.

Wetzel’s Pretzels’ History
Founders Rick Wetzel and Bill Phelps opened their first store at the South Bay Galleria in Southern California in 1994. Within a year, they opened their next store — in Hollywood! From there, they added international locations, and franchises all over the country including restaurants at the Staples Center and Dodgers Stadium. In 2001 and 2003, even Micky Mouse was able to enjoy Wetzel’s Pretzels at Disneyland and Disneyworld!
Currently, the Dallas-based firm of CenterOak Partners LLC owns the majority stake of Wetzel’s Pretzels. As of 2018, Wetzel’s Pretzels has over 300 locations in the US and six other countries.
