Popular Menu Items

High quality meats and cheeses, plus well thought out flavor combinations sets Firehouse Subs apart from much of the sandwich competition. Corned beef, pastrami and slow smoked beef brisket are among the deli selections that you may not be used to seeing at your typical sub shop.

One of the competitive advantages of Firehouse Subs are the additional sides they offer. Add slaw or chili to your order instead of a bag of chips or cookie. Plus they have fresh baked brownies if you are looking for an extra sweet finish to your meal.

Here are some customer favorites from the menu:

Hook & Ladder Salad

If you are looking for a filling lunch or dinner that is low on calories, be sure to give this tasty salad a try. Crisp romaine makes up the bed. Cucumber, tomato, chopped bell pepper and zingy pepperoncini round out the flavors. Plenty of smoked turkey breast and Virginia honey ham make this a complete and satisfying salad.

Firehouse Chili

Chock full of ground beef, kidney beans, onions, peppers and top-quality tomatoes. This is a high protein side dish or small meal perfect for a cold day. Ask your server for some raw onions and cheese over the top to make it extra delicious.

Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket

If you have not been to Firehouse before, we recommend going for this monster sub if you are looking for a delicious feast. Piled high with slow smoked beef brisket and topped with melted cheddar and Sweet Baby Ray’s® BBQ sauce, this sandwich will please even the BBQ snob in you.

Veggie Sub

Most of the menu items at Firehouse Subs do have meat in them. However, this vegetarian friendly sub is packed full of flavor. It comes with any of the veggies on offer, but we love it with sautéed bell pepper and onion, melted provolone and Monterey Jack cheese and the traditional lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Firehouse Subs History

Two brothers, following in their father’s footsteps, Captain Rob Sorensen; a 43-year veteran of the Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department. In their early business years they tried a few ventures before opening Firehouse Subs in 1994.

Since then they have expanded, with over a thousand locations across North America. All their success hasn’t stopped them from helping people. Their charity, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, has donated over $20 million in the local areas they service. Any way you slice it, Firehouse Subs is burning down the competition!
