Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is part of a larger family owned collection of restaurants that dates back to when H.D. Pappas moved to America from Greece in 1897.
He opened several restaurants in Tennessee, Texas and Arkansas. His sons focused on restaurant supply, but their sons joined the family business and over the next several generations the Pappas restaurant empire expanded.
Today the Pappas legacy continues and includes not only Pappadeaux but also Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Pappas Seafood House, Pappasitos’s Cantina, Pappas Burger, Yia Yia Mary’s, and Pappas Bar-B-Que.
