Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen brings together New Orleans style seafoods, steaks, salads, and more. Some of the favorites on the menu include the Jumbo Shrimp Brochette, The Pappadeaux seafood platter, and Pasta Mardi Gras.
They open at 11 AM daily but they do not currently serve any breakfast or brunch dishes. If the chain were to incorporate a brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday upon the 11 AM opening, it could have great success.

There are several items on the lunch and dinner menu that could prompt this seafood restaurant to create a morning dish with a take on some of their current menu items. Some of these items include shrimp and grits, lox, eggs benedict with salmon, omelets, and quiches.
While some suggested items would be new to Pappadeaux, it has the potential to draw in a brunch crowd on the weekends. Saturday’s from 11 AM – 2 PM and Sunday’s from 11 AM- 4 PM would be ideal.

Omelet Pappadeaux: Omelets are on so many breakfast and brunch menus but the unique style of a seafood based omelet would really shine on Pappadeaux’s breakfast or brunch menu. The omelet would be delicious with crab meat, shrimp, avocado, and a choice of vegetables such as bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, etc. It could be very interesting!
Shrimp and Grits: Pappadeaux already serves a delicious Shrimp and Grits plate and a breakfast or brunch version of this would be a savory morning dish with butter and a side biscuit.
Crab and Swiss Quiche: Quiches are great anytime of the day but on a breakfast or brunch menu at Pappadeaux it could really amp up the menu with a delicious crab meat and swiss base.
Eggs Benedict with Salmon: Eggs Benedict is a traditional breakfast and brunch staple with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and an English muffin. Adding salmon to the dish would be an excellent addition for a seafood style breakfast or brunch.
Lox: Because Pappadeaux serves salmon on their lunch and dinner menu, using it for a breakfast or brunch dish makes sense. This dish would include brined salmon served on a bagel with cream cheese and garnished with red onion and capers.
