Popular Menu Items

PDQ celebrates chicken. All of their best menu items feature their chicken tenders and nuggets, which are hand-breaded and cooked to order. You can also get grilled chicken tenders.

You can switch things up by adding a dipping sauce to your order. PDQ offers eight different sauces: ranch, buffalo bleu, creamy garlic, honey BBQ, sweet sriracha, chipotle BBQ, honey mustard, and regular bleu cheese.

If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, you can get PDQ’s famous tenders on a bun with a variety of toppings to create a flavorful alternative. They also offer bowls that are filled with tenders or nuggets and then topped with veggies and rice.

If you have a sweet tooth, PDQ also features hand-spun milkshakes in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. Or, you can get a specialty shake like an apple pie or one filled with Oreos.

Here are some of PDQ’s most popular menu choices:

Tenders Meal

If you want to try PDQ’s chicken, then this is the meal for you. It comes with an order of hand-breaded tenders, fries, and a drink. You can also opt for the blueberry coleslaw instead of fries. And, as always, you get your choice of homemade sauces.

Nuggets Meal

If you prefer nuggets to tenders, there’s also a meal for those. You get the same choice of sides and sauces.

Fruit Harvest Salad

PDQ’s salads are a popular choice and the Fruit Harvest Salad is a great option. PDQ uses their grilled tenders served over mixed greens and mixed with Granny Smith apples, candied almonds, craisins, and tomatoes. It comes with a homemade blueberry-ginger vinaigrette.

Buffy Bleu Sandwich

If you want a sandwich with a little spice, this is the perfect pick. It’s two hand-breaded tenders made to order topped with buffalo bleu sauce and lettuce, served on a buttery brioche bun, served with a side.

PDQ’s History

The first PDQ was opened in 2011 in Tampa, Florida, after founders Bob Basham and Nick Reader discovered a recipe for chicken tenders on the back roads of North Carolina at a place called Tenders. They struck a deal with the owners and PDQ was born.

After initially being called “Pretty Darn Quick,” the owners decided that they wanted their brand to mean so much more, so they changed it to PDQ to encapsulate their dedication to quality.

PDQ likes to be involved in their communities as well, giving to charities and hosting local events like the Million Thanks Partnership, which is dedicated to sending thank you notes to troops overseas.
