Ruth’s Chris is primarily known as an upscale dinner spot which serves typical American cuisine. The restaurant chain, however, has started to earn a pristine reputation for serving up excellent food during lunch hours. The lunch menu, at many locations, begins to be served at roughly 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM.
Of course, the steak dishes at Ruth’s Chris are incredible. Beyond this, however, the lunch menus offer some great seafood, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and even pasta dishes.

Ruth’s Chris’s Most Popular Breakfast Foods
Southwest Steak Salad: Can’t decide between something light (like a salad) and the Ruth’s Chris specialty dish (steak)? Why not try both. The Southwest Steak Salad features vegetables like grape tomatoes, fried onions, corn salsa, and avocado, tossed in spring greens and flavored with vinaigrette and spicy sriracha aioli. Oh yes, did we mention the cilantro-marinated tenderloin? Delicious.
Chicken & Avocado Club: With a side of julienne french fries or onion rings, this is a light, flavorful sandwich that will not leave you wanting more. As well as the delicious ingredients in the title, the sandwich features Swiss cheese, bacon, mayonnaise, and a variety of vegetables– all on a high-quality brioche bun. Yum.
Barbecued Shrimp: Why don’t we eat shrimp for breakfast more often? This filling, delicious, and light seafood is a perfect way to start the day- especially when sauteed in white wine, butter, garlic, and Louisiana spices.
Petite Filet: Ruth’s Chris is, most of all, famous for steak. Now, this can be a substantial meal (and an expensive one) for the first meal of the day– however, this small filet is a reasonably portioned 8 oz beef filet cooked to your preference. With a side of salad, this dish provides a steady start to the early day.
