Popular Catering Choices at Famous Dave’s
The Delivery and Setup package is worth it for the wet naps alone, but it also includes high quality plastic plates and plasticware, napkins, wet naps (napkins), and extra saucy award-winning barbeque sauce. The food is delivered, dropped off, and displayed as a self-serve buffet, which is perfect for large groups.
The Full-Service package is everything the Delivery and Setup package has (again, emphasis on the wet naps) plus tablecloths, chafing dishes to keep the food warm, and high-quality paper products. Famous Dave’s employees will serve the food and clean the mess that is beyond the abilities of a wet nap. There is also an option to have Famous Dave’s cooks grill on site of your location.
The Pick-up package lets you walk right into the to-Go counter and take your order yourself. You will be in and out because they will have the order ready for you, already conveniently packaged. This would be great for a small gathering.
Slab of BBQ Spareribs
Cooks rub Dave’s secret spice recipe into the meat before smoking them in a pit in the ground for several hours. They took first place in the Best in the West Rib Cook Off. You can order them with or without his award-winning sauce slathered on, which is when you grab the wet naps.
Dave’s Sassy Salads
For those who want a little taste of BBQ without the guilt, there is a crisp garden or creamy caesar salad. From there, your guests choose between grilled chicken, Texas beef brisket, Georgia chopped pork or barbeque pork to be mixed in with it. The caesar option only comes with chicken. Salads are served with a warm corn bread muffin.
Dave’s Cheesy Mac and Cheese
Cheesy is right! This side dish is a blend of four gooey cheeses. Expect the faint flavor of jalapeno too.
Dave’s Award-Winning Bread Pudding
If you like bread pudding, you will love this one made from scratch and drizzled with pecan and praline sauce. This is always accompanied with whipped cream and ice cream that slowly melts as it’s pressed up against the warm bread pudding.
